Touraine is a changing wine-growing subregion that influences the soils and climates that cradle the vines. It covers an area of 13,000 hectares. As a result, the grape varieties are diverse and numerous. The climates are oceanic and continental and the soils are composed of white chalk and limestone. The wines produced in the cliffs are characterized by ample and powerful.
